RENTON, Wash. – The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) announces the hiring of Alexandra (Alli) Krous and Cam Taylor.  The new hires will take on the responsibilities of the recently vacated Enrollment Coordinator and Office Manager positions.

Alli Krous was a three-sport student-athlete at Eisenhower HS.
Krous has held the role of WIAA Intern since September of 2011 while also working toward obtaining her master’s degree in sports administration and leadership at Seattle University.  In addition to graduate school and the internship, Krous served on Seattle University’s Arts & Sciences Graduate Council most recently as the Co-President.

A native of Yakima, Wash., Krous was a three-sport athlete for the Eisenhower Cadets.  She played two years of collegiate soccer at Walla Walla Community College before transferring to play two additional years at the University of Maine, where she majored in kinesiology.  She also threw javelin for the Black Bears’ track and field team.

Cam Taylor was a baseball standoutat Mount Vernon HS
before attending UW.
Taylor comes to the WIAA after working for the Washington Prep Athletic Network as a Sponsorship and Marketing Consultant.  During his time at the WPA Network, Taylor gained valuable experience working with many WIAA member schools and leagues.  Prior to his time with the WPA Network, he served as an intern for the WIAA as well as the Seattle Sports Commission.

Taylor grew up in Mount Vernon, Wash., where he played baseball for the Bulldogs.  A product of the University of Washington, Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

“We’re very excited about adding Alli and Cam to the WIAA Staff,” WIAA Executive Director Mike Colbrese said.  “Each has a deep understanding of the value of participation in school programs and a commitment for service.  They will be great additions to our team”

Krous will begin full-time employment immediately, while Taylor is expected to start in mid-April.
