Kentwood High School is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Boys Soccer program during the 2025-26 school year.
The WIAA official season runs March 3rd, 2026 – end of May 2026, depending on how far we advance in the postseason. Practices take place Monday-Friday. Games vary throughout the week. C team usually plays at 3:30PM, JV 5 PM and Varsity 7:00 PM. It is expected that the assistant coach will support the head coach in organizing and coordinating practice plans, as well as strength and conditioning activities, in accordance with WIAA and KSD policies.
We are seeking an Assistant Coach with a strong technical and strategic understanding of soccer, with experience competing and coaching at the high school, club, or collegiate level. The ideal candidate will have the ability to connect with high school student-athletes, offering guidance and mentorship, while working collaboratively and professionally with the coaching staff. A passion for promoting athletic development, teamwork, and leadership is essential.
