Kentwood High School is seeking a Head Coach for the Girls Fastpitch program during the 2026-2027 school year.
The WIAA official season runs March 1, 2027 – early May 22, 2027, depending on how far we advance in the postseason. Practices take place Monday-Friday. Games vary throughout the week, generally beginning at 4PM. There are also opportunities for league and non-league games. It is expected that the head coach will also organize summer league training and open conditioning during the off season in compliance with WIAA and KSD policies.
We are seeking a Head Coach with a strong technical and strategic understanding of Fastpitch (Softball), with experience competing and coaching at the high school, club, or collegiate level. The ideal candidate will have the ability to connect with high school student-athletes, offering guidance and mentorship, while working collaboratively and professionally with the coaching staff. A passion for promoting athletic development, teamwork, and leadership is essential.
