Sequim High School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered leader to serve as Head Girls’ Soccer Coach. The Head Coach is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the girls’ soccer program, including varsity and sub-varsity levels. The coach will develop a competitive, positive, and student-focused team culture aligned with Sequim Wolves Athletics and Sequim School District expectations. The position requires strong leadership, organization, communication, and a commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes. Responsibilities include organizing and supervising practices and contests, developing and implementing a comprehensive seasonal plan, supervising assistant coaches, maintaining clear communication with athletes and families, and ensuring compliance with WIAA, Olympic League, and district policies. The Head Coach will promote sportsmanship, academic accountability, and leadership development among student-athletes while representing Sequim High School with professionalism and integrity. The coach will also oversee equipment and uniforms, assist with scheduling and logistics, and support the development of the program across all levels. Candidates should have prior coaching experience, strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals and player development, and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff and administration. Applicants must meet all WIAA and Sequim School District coaching certification requirements, including First Aid/CPR, concussion training, and WIAA coaching standards. Compensation is provided through the district coaching stipend schedule.
